Throughout her career Colleen Rose has worked with people from all cultures and age groups who wish to engage with their community through music. She has gained invaluable experience in administrative and leadership roles, whilst improving upon her organisational and communication skills when working with all levels of capabilities. Furthermore, she has always offered a great versatility in all her work.

In working with children and adults with and without disabilities, also some with special needs and also from disadvantaged backgrounds, she has been able to design and implement teaching methods that have been tailored to the needs of individual people, whilst aiming to improve their lives, both socially and educationally. Experience with community arts projects (including the administrative tasks of funding applications and marketing and advertisement of projects) has provided her with the ability to work with all people from all walks of life, with a creative, dynamic and innovative style. She strives to promote excellence and encourage participants to reach their set goals.

Colleen Rose's teaching experience dates back over 15 years in both group and individual tuition as well as lecturing in colleges. Entering pupils for graded examinations as well as preparing them for competitions and performances throughout the years has become second nature to her.

Distinctions and merits are popular results amongst her pupils, as well as an outstanding mark of 100% for a pupil at her LCM University of West London exam - which is virtually an unheard of result from any examiner!

If you would be interested in lessons then please do not hesitate to get in contact. Colleen Rose also rents out harps for beginners that are just starting out. There is a preferred starting age for pupils to be at least 7 years of age to start on any instrument.
